After Brian earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Bowling Green State University, he gained his first exposure to the human services field as a Child Care Worker in an inpatient setting, followed by providing case management services for the elderly population.
After earning his Master’s Degree in Agency and Community Counseling from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and entering the counseling profession Brian has vast experience providing counseling services to a variety of people and settings.

I believe in utilizing evidence based best practices to offer each person the best skillset available to help them work their personal goal. I have received specialized trainings in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT intensively trained), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR intensively trained with certification in progress), Integration Based Stress Reduction (IBSR intensively trained with certification in progress), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT intensively trained).
Additionally I have experience working with chemical dependency and dual diagnose issues.
